Awarded study project in 2006
This is a handy mobile multifunctional medical device with integrated functions for determination and registration of the patient's body temperature, blood count, glucose and blood type. The ergonomically sophisticated and colourful form contributes to the humanization of the technology under the usually stressful conditions of clinics and laboratories. It is friendly for both medical and laboratory staff and patients due to its serviceability and appearance. It is suitable for use in fieldwork as well.
SDT Institute (Zavod za Sito, Digitalni in Tampo tisk, Partizanska cesta 82, 6210 Sežana, Slovenia) in cooperation with the Center for Screen, Digital and Pad printing Portal Community (CeSDT) - http://www.all4print.net/ - and the Section for Screen, Pad and Digital Print at the Slovenian Chamber of Commerce, supported by FESPA have hold a competition for students and apprentices in 3D printing.
I recieved first prize for this product on this 3D Youth Model competition in category of Medicine, Prosthetics, 3D Computer Art and Archeology. Awarded model was exhibited at the 3D print forum in Amsterdam (RAI). I have received a physical 3D model of my design printed on a 3D printer as an award.

My first study project (2005)
Our industrial design department on Academy of fine arts and design in Ljubljana was colaborating with Slovenian company Les –Kro (they have wood producton). It was one month lasted workshop on topic »Improving competitiveness in the furniture industry through an innovative use of waste wood«. I created a series of coffin for diverse pets named Anubis (like an Egyptian Jackal god of cemeteries and embalming). I get an inspiration for form in Egyptian arhitecture- Pyramids and similar. My goal was to design a product for pets lovers so they can make nice ceremony after death of animal and create it easier »face with death« explanation for children. In next step I anticipate whole cemetery system and orderliness of it. My mentor was prof. Saša J. Maechtig. Here is an article, published in "Klik magazine" about workshop and description of some projects (Anubis+prototype picture, page 38-39).
